午夜的人行道上不帶一絲聲響……一直到第一隻潔里珂貓的出現。
隨著一隻又一隻的貓兒們出現在這座大型垃圾場的各個角落，因為一年一度令潔里珂貓重生的『潔里珂舞會』就在今晚隆重的展開，這也讓所有的貓兒特地到此歡聚，共襄盛舉！

此時從四處聚集而來的潔里珂貓們注意到了許多的不速之客……陌生的『人們』出現在他們的領地上，起初各種不滿和猜疑的氛圍圍繞著貓群，但很快的貓兒們便接受了被觀察的結果，繼續專注著他們的舞會，甚至熱情的為『人們』介紹著貓兒們所擁有的三個名子。
第一種，是日常中所使用的普通稱呼
第二種，是象徵著尊嚴，高貴而獨特的稱呼
最後一種則是只有貓兒自己才知曉的，秘密的名子

而在這簡單的介紹結束後，貓兒們開始合唱起『潔里珂貓的潔里珂之歌』(連結為青歲的文章)
隨後，在維多利亞（Victoria）的獨舞中舞會正式的開始了。

在部落裡最強壯的母灰貓，蒙克斯崔普（Munkustrap）開始唱名，待JennyAnyDots的演唱結束，若騰塔格（Rum Tum Tugger）戲劇性的從一旁跳了出來！

伴隨著節奏搖擺著身軀，並調戲著在場為數眾多的母貓們，若騰塔格（Rum Tum Tugger）不斷的表現著自己的特色，猶如歌詞中一般叛逆、狡猾又機智過"貓"。

擁抱著邦貝魯琳娜（Bombalurina）卻又在下一秒惡意的讓她摔倒在地上，再搖擺中以媚眼代替關心，不斷周遊再所有的母貓之間。

一直到葛麗茲貝拉（Grizabella）的出現，打斷了自己的演出……（下略）

趁著幕間下場的時候，梅爾不好意思的和棻蘼萘道歉，畢竟為了戲劇效果，雖然有小心收力但還是把對方摔在地上。

在麥卡維第（Macavity)）逃走之後，本來躲在幕後的若騰塔格（Rum Tum Tugger）再次出場，從容不迫的告訴大家：｢不用擔心，我們部落中不是還有位神奇的少年嗎?那位神奇的密斯托菲里士（Mr. Mistoffelees）先生～｣

當密斯托菲里士（Mr. Mistoffelees）將戒律奶奶（Old Deuteronomy）變回垃圾場時，找回領導者的喜悅完全寫在眾貓兒的臉上。

而在老戒律奶奶（Old Deuteronomy）選擇了葛麗茲貝拉（Grizabella）成為今夜重生的潔里珂貓時，葛麗茲貝拉（Grizabella）隨即前往了Heaviside Layer獲得重生。

當眾貓離去之後，Old Deuteronomy才又對著台下的人類又歌唱了一曲……最後她悄悄地說著。「只要對貓兒表示敬意，一定會討貓兒的歡喜。因為，貓兒跟人類並沒有什麼不同。」
