原曲是一首由法國作曲家Jacques Revaux作曲，法國作詞家Gilles Thibaut和 Claude François作詞的法文歌 "Comme d'habitude"。英文版由加裔美籍歌手Paul Anka撰詞。這首歌首次收錄於1969年法蘭克·辛納屈（Frank Sinatra）出版的同名專輯當中。
這首歌的影響範圍不僅限於音樂界，1989年蘇聯領導人戈巴契夫在上台後，採行所謂「辛納屈主義」（Sinatra Doctrine，俄文：Доктрина Синатры），一改過去試圖牢牢掌控東歐各衛星國的「布里茲涅夫主義」，蘇聯試著開放讓這些國家「走自己的路」。之所以會取名「辛納屈主義」，即是因為這首歌的關係。

我認為這首歌是那種不同的人在自己人生不同階段理解，會各有不同體會與感觸的歌。
或許旋律、曲風或樂器配置等皆與現今的流行截然不同，能深深感受到濃重的時代感，但絕不影響這首歌上述的特性。
某種程度上這首歌更像是一首詩，借歷史名師呂捷的筆墨來說，「詩是不能解釋的」。
