During my self-study, I thought of this famous quote from a French general in World War I, and I think this is somewhat similar to my situation. We all know that France won the First World War, but they were addicted with victory（沉迷於勝利是這樣翻ㄇ）because of this, and they weren't prepared for the Second War.
I think I was too satisfied with the result of the exam of junior high school, which caused me to become reluctant to face my shortcomings and the exam of senior high school. Some people are contrary to me. They learn the lessons from the first time, try to make up for their shortcomings in high school, and prepare for the second exam.
