1. nothing to sneeze at 是指一件事非凡，allergies 指過敏，這裡玩的雙關是: 就算你的過敏很嚴重，你也無法對此打噴嚏/瞧不起。
2. chance 指機會；chants 指觀眾的歡呼，crown 指皇冠；crowd 指被觀眾圍起來。這裡以音近的四個字做前後交換。
3. Em 一直都對龐大的名氣感冒，不僅失去自己與家人的隱私，也使生涯爭議不斷，但他依舊感謝饒舌幫助他脫離窮苦，脫離從前住在拖車裡的生活。
4. 雙關，訂書機會用來將紙或紙鈔固定 (得到)。
5. proof 可指酒精度數，100 proof 的酒度具有可燃性，大概是酒精濃度50%，同時與前面的 shots 做呼應。

而此首 Higher 中，Em 使用了許多 word play 來敘述他的生涯，目前已經達成無數成就的他，在未來的路該怎麼走常常感到迷惘，時常覺得無法超越自己，但他證明自己依舊還有著那份熱情與技術，將會繼續帶給人們他的作品，直到他衰老......
