There are so many diverse forms of life.Everything I see here can be divided in two kingdoms:fungi and bugs.It seems that all fungi require both nutrient and moisture to survive.Thankfully,organic nutrient appears to fall steadily from the sky.Though i cannot possibly divine as to why this is so.



Entry 4

I can divide all species of fungi into three subcategories:mold,pod,and mushroom.There are many differences between these,but all reproduce through spores.It seems that moisture slowly seeps滲出 from depper underground,For this reason,lowlands tend to be better irrigrated可灌溉的 than mountains,which rely on rainfall for there moisture.

Bugs area very different form of life compared to the fungi.It seems they must consume other life to survive.There diets飲食 are either herbivorous食草的,Detritivore腐生,carnivorous肉食性的 ,or mixed.Instead of reproducing via spores,bugs do so by laying an egg cluster after becoming old enough.

Entry 6

Left to their own devices,i fear that hungry herbivores might strip剝光 a world a barren不毛之地 if given enough time.Predators are very important for this very reason,by keeping the prey's population in check they help maintain a much healther ecosystem生態系統.Carnivores食肉動物 can also cause a similar disaster themselves,by overeating prey被捕食的動物 and wiping out all herbivores食草動物.

Entry 7

The dead bodies of bugs release nutritious substance物質 into the soil below them. I could use this to refertilize再施肥 soil or sustain支撐 existing現存的 fungus. Occasionally偶爾,the bugs even release a small amount of substance while alive.Perhaps the portion部分 they were unable to digest?

Entry 8

The strangest phenomenon現象 of this world is perhaps the stream流動 of falling nutrient.I still cannot discover their source,but I have found a pattern.The substance物質 ceases結束 regular falling when the world's soil holds a certain total amount of nutrient.A world without this steady fall is likely to die.Nutrient locked away in inaccesible難接近 areas is not helpfull to any life.I should ensure a wide spread of fungal life to prevent this from occurring.

I have been on this world for quite some time and I have grown fond of this place and would like to see it survive for as long as possible.I am also interested in seeing what the highest amount of life diversity or biomass I can sustain is.

Having spent a very long time on this world,I find myself realizing that I have not thought much of myself.To be honest,I'm not entirely sure what I am.That I am connected to the living things that reside here in some way is certain. That I am something entirely different than them is too.I've always known that this world is not my first home,but I am having difficulty remembering what worlds here present earlier.I can only recall few things from before...

What were the worlds before this one like ? I have remembered a few things. I'm sure I recall 回憶 there being more creatures than just the one I've seen on this world . Sometimes there were massive collections of water , more than just soil dampness潮濕 . Giant pools of it even平坦的. Special life even existed entirely within these pools even the land was not always the same and I recall there being large underground tunnels home to unique life . I wish I could remember more , perhaps I will one day see a world with this features again .

The life I have seen so far is always the same . Each beetle is essentially實質上 to the next . I feel as though I remember a time when species changed , sometimes combining the traits特徵 of other . Was this done by my wand杖 ? I recall guiding this process in some way , but wave utterly forgotten how . Perhaps I will remember sometime in the future .

I have had more time for introspection反思.I think I know what I am . A planetary 行星的consciousness知覺,of sorts. Without life , I am nothing but a dull晦暗的 spark火苗 . In a large and vibrant振動的 world , my mind is a raging盛行 fire. I have worn穿著 many worlds as bodies and seen many die. Nothing I have seen was ever compared to the first world I inhabited棲息於,but even it died like the rest. Someday I will create a world even more vibrant than it . Every year I grow strong,and I await the day that I grow strong enough.

Blue mold is a mutation of pink mold.With a superficially altered coloration,the host notable difference between the two is that blue mold only raises stalks when adjacent to a pit or wall.This behavoir is more efficient than that of pink mold.Leading to less wasteful fungus.However,blue mold demands slightly more nutrient consumption than pink mold.

pink mold is the most common mold and often the first to pioneer presence on a new world.It survives by soaking nutrient and moisture from the soil below it.Roots can stretch across vast horizontal distance,but it must rely on spores

Green mold is another variant of mold.It attempts to minimize the wasteful creation of flowers by only randomly choose whether or not to sprout播種 one.This certainly makes for a more conservative保守 mold,but random chance can cause the mold to forego放棄 good reproduction points and essentially實質上 trap itself.

Like most other mold variants變體,yellow mold has a modified behavior for erecting樹立 flowers.Yellow mold ceases終止 to support flowers after they release several packets of spores,causing them to die off.After waiting a while,it then regrows a new set.By doing this,it only needs to maitain spore blossoms興旺期 about half the time.

The sundew mold is a rather unique mold.While most molds are defenseless and have no choice but to submit to the grazing of herbivores,the sundew mold is covered in a viscous黏的 and sticky塗有黏膠物質的 substance物質 that makes it very difficult to eat.Any bug in the same squre as a sundew mold will become coated覆蓋 and panicked恐慌,usually starving挨餓to death.Only by eating a young sprout嫩枝 or by standing on the back on another bug can a herbivore食草動物 graze放牧 on this mold.

The Red pod,being a pod fungus,does not spread roots across large distances nor can it draw support from adjacent鄰接的 fungi of the same specie,as molds and mushrooms do.The Red pod favors a compact緊湊的 design with the purpose of sprouting萌芽 it's red conelike pod.From this pod it fires spores high into the air,where slight breezes微風 may cause it to land somewhere new and hard to reach.

Brown pod is a form of podlike fungus.Pods use a different means of spore release than molds,and are unable to spread their roots quickly across a

The Hungry pod is a carnivorous肉食性的 fungus.When fully grown,It holds a large mouthlike trap open and awaits prey獵物 to step inside.Inside the pod,bugs are digested for nutrient and drained被吸乾 of moisture.When it is finished digesting,it releases a cloud of spores and readies itself for the consumption下一餐 of another prey.Its spore release mechanisms機制 are limited,however,and it can only do so directly after eating a bug.It is only vulnerable to grazing when it is too young to develope a trap or while it is digesting a meal.

The Blue mushroom is a fungus capable of great size. It is able to stretch its stalk莖 to great height,allowing the spores that fall from the cap頂蓋 to reach taller areas.The trunk 樹幹 also doubles as nutrient storage and can be consumed by the base in times of starvation挨餓.Another unique feature of mushrooms is their ability to create exetended root systems.The roots of a Blue mushroom can reach great depths to search for deeply buried nutrient and water.

The Erratic sanil behaves much like the more common blue-shelled snail,but has a slight輕微的 behavoiral表現 difference.While the common snail plods沉重緩慢地走 ever forward,the Erratic snail can randomly choose to change direction.Because of this behavoir,the snail is more likely to remain in one general area.If this area contains food,this is a good thing.
