Skillet
Skillet是一支"福音搖滾樂團所謂的福音搖滾,就是以正面的歌詞與積極的態度來傳遞基督教的精神,讓更多人藉由他們的音樂而認識基督教,他們的歌詞結果往往是很容易融入旋律，可以讓失落的靈魂尋找一些精神的力量,我在還沒深入去研究這支團體前看他們的現場演唱會就有發現的他們的群眾似乎跟一般的搖滾樂迷有著不太相同的感覺!
Skillet成立於1996年美國田納西州的孟菲斯,由John Cooper(主唱、貝斯手)Korey Cooper (主唱、鍵盤手、吉他手) Ben Kasica(吉他手)和Jen Ledger(鼓手)所組成,主唱Cooper與吉他手Korey是夫妻並且是樂團中的靈魂人物.
前面提到Skillet是一支基督教樂團,那想當然當然在國外也有所謂的"反基督"風格的樂團嚕,主要的代表樂團有MM(Marilyn Manson) & Nine Inch Nails(九吋釘),網路上有個有趣的傳言,Skillet的主唱Cooper曾經去欣賞MM的演唱會為了要「知己知彼百戰百勝」,Cooper說『我看到那些青少年對著MM如痴如狂的模樣，我愈發了解音樂的力量，音樂是如何地影響學生們，音樂使人提升也使人沈淪,我也可以發揮那種影響力，但我要加入希望的信息』,便下定決心，要"以其人之道還治其人之身"朝基督教音樂史上最吵的樂團邁進!其實，最早他們剛開始作音樂的時候，並不會那麼吵，走的是一般「中間路線」的另類搖滾。後來可能發現一堆青少年都被吵得要死的搖滾樂吸引去了，他們為了「向甚麼樣的人，就作甚麼樣的人」，開始轉向,這也就是他們所謂的以其人之道還治其人之身嚕!
