Aegis: Block the next attack
庇護:格擋下一次攻擊

Fury: 20% Critical Chance increase.
怒火:增加20%暴擊率

Might: X damage per attack increase. (Stacks intensity now.)
強力:每次攻擊提升X點傷害,現在可大量堆疊效果

Protection: 33% damage reduction.
保護:減少33%傷害

Regeneration: Regenerates X health per second.
恢復:每秒回復X點血量

Retaliation: Does X damage to an opponent each time they hit you.
報復:每當敵人擊中你,對其造成X點傷害

Swiftness: 33% movement speed increase.
敏捷:提升33%移動速度

Vigor: increases endurance regeneration by 100%
活力:耐力恢復速度增加100%


Stability: Cannot be knocked down, pushed back, launched, stunned, dazed, floated, sunk, or feared.
堅定:不會被擊倒、擊退、擊飛、擊昏、擊暈、漂浮、沉默或者恐懼。

Confusion: Inflicts X damage each time a foe attacks. (New condition; stacks intensity.)
困惑:每當敵人使用技能受到X點傷害,可大量堆疊效果

Cripple: 50% movement-speed reduction.
斷足:減少50%移動速度 【個人覺得此名詞較OK】
殘廢(GW的翻譯名詞)

Fear: causes an enemy to be interrupted and run directly away from the player for a short period of time, usually 1 second.
恐懼:中斷敵人並且使其立即跑開一段時間,通常一秒

Immobilize: is a condition which hinders movement and prevents dodging. Victims also can't turn.
定身:阻礙運動神經跟迴避。受害者不能移動。

Poison: Inflicts X damage per second. Reduces outgoing heals by 33%. (Stacks duration now.)
中毒 :每秒受到X點傷害,減沙施放的治療效果66%(現在只可堆疊持續時間)

Vulnerable:  Lowered the amount of armor it reduces, but allowed it to stack so that it creates moments of super-high vulnerability for damage spiking.
易損:降低減少的防禦值,但容許堆疊效果使在大量易損之下可以製造巨額傷害

Weakness: Endurance regeneration decreased by 50%; 50% of non critical hits are glancing blows (50% damage); stacks duration.

控制類效果(Control Effect)

Daze: is an effect caused by some skills which interrupts and prevents the target from using skills for a period of time
暈眩:打斷技能施放,並且不能使用技能一段時間。

Stun: is an effect caused by some skills which interrupts, immobilizes, and incapacitates foes for a short duration.
昏迷:是一種由部分技能引發的效果,可以中斷、定身以及短時間內使敵人無力化。

Float: is an underwater effect caused bysome skills which forces the affected target(s) to move towards the surface.
漂浮:是一種由部分技能所引發的水下效果,可以讓中此效果的目標強制浮向水面

Knock Down: is an effect caused by some skills which interrupts and causes the foe to be unable to move or use skills for a short duration. Knocked down foes fall to the ground.
擊倒:打斷技能並造成敵人短時間內不能移動或使用技能。使敵人倒向地面

Launch: is an effect caused by some skills which interrupts and tosses a character into the air.
擊飛:打斷技能並使敵人飛向空中

Pull: is an effect caused by some skills which shortens the distance between the user and the foe by drawing one of them to another. If a foe is pulled, this can result in an interrupt.
拖曳:將技能使用者跟敵人拉在一起。如果敵人被拖曳,將打斷技能。

Push: also known as Knockback, is an effect caused by some skills which physically pushes foes away from the player and interrupts them.
推:也稱作擊退,對敵人造成物理推動,使其遠離玩家並打斷他們技能。

Sink: is an underwater effect caused by some skills which forces the affected target(s) to move away from the surface.
沉沒:一種水下效果。強迫讓受影響的目標遠離水面。

Distortion: Distortion is an effect exclusive to mesmers which allows them to evade attacks for some time.
扭曲:扭曲是幻術的專有技能,可以讓他們短時間內避開攻擊

Frenzy: You take 50% more damage
狂暴:所受到的傷害增加50%

Frosty Armor: is an effect which protects against incoming attacks.
寒霜裝甲:是一種可以抵擋接下來攻擊的效果

Haste: Regenerate no endurance.
急速:耐力值不會恢復

Invulnerability : is an effect that prevents the target from taking damage or receiving conditions. It is automatically placed on many boss monsters during cutscenes. It is also placed on rallied players for one second.
無敵:是一種可以避免目標被傷害或者接收狀態。這個在過場動畫時會自動放在大多數的BOSS怪物身上。重整的玩家也會有1秒這個狀態

Quickening Zephyr: You cannot be healed.

Quickness: Skills and actions are twice as fast.

Rejuvenation: is an effect that regenerates health. This effect is exclusive to the guardian profession through the Virtue of Resolve.
回春:一種恢復生命的效果,由守護者的決心德性所引發

Smiting: is an effect that causes every fifth attack to apply burning. This effect is exclusive to the guardian profession through the Virtue of Justice.

最底下的Fear是Condition,不是effect
另外,考慮到Vulnerable,Immobilize和Burning,把Condition譯為病症總是怪怪的
