兩個月前開始追蹤 Sleepthief 的 FB 專頁，

發現 Justin Elswick 他滿喜歡跟聽眾作類似這種深入的思想交流，

討論甚至帶點哲學味道。

不愧是我最喜歡的西方音樂人，有深度。(笑)

東方音樂人的話，是 onoken。

一月份，

Sleepthief 預告了新作《Dust & Cloud／Celestial》的誕生。

當找了這次的歌姬 Phildel 的成名作來聽之後，

我越發期待了：

從歌聲裡面爆發出來的力量，很是懾人。

果然就像在呼喚著、指引著戀人迷途飄零的亡魂。

MV 也拍得很淳樸，很美。

Phildel 眼神裡桀驁坦率的野性美，

山雨欲來的大地：

可惜我對原曲的編曲無感。

鋼琴版唱得比較深刻、有感情。

像一首古愛爾蘭或是古蘇格蘭的悼亡詩。

(banshee 是當地傳說中會以哭號預告死亡的女妖)

最高享受其實是－－

把原版消音掉，

然後邊聽著烏克麗麗版、邊看無聲的 MV。

麻糬麵包：
三個版本都聽過了之後，麻糬最愛的也是鋼琴版的
飄邈的哀愁搭配著冷寂的鋼琴聲~~~ 絕配！！

而且鋼琴聲從最初輕描淡寫
到後來沉重深刻，
好像在描繪女孩在追尋男孩靈魂的過程中所嚐到的各種痛苦一樣......
　
此外，說不定麻糬也會喜歡 Caroline Lavelle 的聲音喔^^

同意，她的歌聲很乾淨、空靈。
　
坦白說，在那段英文訪談裡，她的表情有點矯揉造作，我不太喜歡。
　
可是這次認真聽了一下，好像還可以，
說不定唯會覺得吃力，是因為中間夾了個凡不認識她的人都不可能聽懂的專輯名字？

那是需要日積月累的，加油~
　
此外，也有可能是牽涉到一點點信仰上的抽象概念，
比如第一題的 "surrender" 與其說是投降，
倒不如翻譯成【放手交託、獻上順服】；
就算用中文寫，意思也不像字面般容易理解。
